Prior Session was Cycle Day 2: Opening energy pushed value to our acknowledged goal zone between 5079 – 5104 as outlined in prior DTS Briefing 4.18.24. Consumers couldn’t maintain the bid and as such reversal unfolded, discovering responsive patrons on the Preliminary Steadiness and PUT WALL zone. Brief bounce to VWAP was rejected and closed in the lower quartile of the day’s session. Range was 56 handles on 1.650M contracts exchanged.

…Transition from Cycle Day 2 to Cycle Day 3
This leads us into Cycle Day 3: Price closed near the CD1 Low (5047). The primary goal for cycle bulls is for price to trade above this level during RTH, which would satisfy the 3 Day Cycle Statistic. Should a stronger rally unfold, then upside targets 5084 – 5088 zone, On the flip-side, should selling pressure develop, lower targets measure 5030 – 5020 zone.

Bull Scenario: Price sustains a bid above 5050, initially targets 5085 – 5090 zone.
